One Direction reacts to George Floyd’s death

The tragedy of George Floyd’s death is not one any of us getting over any time soon. The reality of how brutal our world is, is set right in with incidents like this. However, the way people have reacted to the situations, especially with a pandemic going on, is remarkable. A great cause of the widespread awareness campaigns by celebrities. The One Direction members, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan also took to their social media to react to the George Floyd incident. They have all put in their word on how heartbreaking the situation is and, how crucial it is to take a step against racism today.

My condolences to George Floyd’s family and to the many other who have lost loved ones in these tragic circumstances. Again, Black Lives Matter. Stay Safe and take care.

– Liam Payne.

This was just a part of the long and heartfelt note Liam posted on his Instagram.

What the One Direction Members have to say for the George Floyd Murder.

Harry Styles also took to his social media to talk about the matter.

His words, although not the most original phrases, were just as heartfelt.

I do things every day without fear, because I am privileged, and I am privileged every day because I am white.

One Direction boys have taken the George Floyd death and been more active on social media than ever. They are doing their best to help raise awareness.

Fine Line singer Harry Styles aside, One Direction sweetheart Niall Horan is tweeting literally every other hour about George Floyd.

Louis Tomlinson is also donating and shared the donation link with his followers.

His ending words sound so reassuring.

I am with you. Black Lives Matter.

At this point though, the world needs us all to be a little more compassionate, a little more selfless, and just, a less of ourselves. The world, much like the One Direction boys, stands in solidarity with George Floyd. We hope this centuries-long trend of racial discrimination is finally put to an end.
