Vanessa Morgan Calls out Riverdale Writers – Defends Ashleigh Murray

Honestly, fans and followers can come up with the weirdest theories. Sometimes, these actually trigger celebrities. So, when a fan posted this one theory about why the Pussycats were written off Riverdale, Vanessa Morgan and Ashleigh Murray did not keep their silence.

The pussycats were written off because @iamamurray is a known diva and didn’t want to share the screen with other talented women. Even on Katy Keene she barely shares scenes with other women because she’s a diva.

Since then, the account has deleted the post but, we have Morgan’s word on it.

Vanessa Morgan defends friend Ashleigh Murray.

You don’t know what the f*ck your talking about and don’t talk about my friend like that. Another thing i hate BLACK women being called DIVAS for sticking up for themselves.

Vanessa Morgan is not keeping her silence anymore as she calls out Riverdale writers for their racial bias on writing off Ashleigh Murray’s Pussycats.

Maybe the show should write for her like the white characters. You picked the wrong day get off my page.

In the next tweet, she says, ‘I’m Not Being Quiet anymore’ and posts this.

And so, Ashleigh Murray also did not stay quiet after her friend Vanessa Morgan stood up for her.

Their sharp comebacks clearly shut the theorist down. The two women are some of the sweethearts of the industry so its rare to see them have an outburst like this. The Black Lives Matter campaigns have given the community a way to express themselves like never before. This definitely contributes to them finally expressing their emotions. Both Vanessa Morgan and Ashleigh Murray are only doing their jobs. It is not on them or their attitude that they are assigned minor roles.

The bias from Riverdale writers kind of shows as we know very little about Vanessa’s character Toni Topaz from the show. Her on-screen time is limited mostly to her scenes with Madelaine Petsch.
