For Millennials. By Millennials.
It seems like Miley Cyrus has been bitten by the quarantine hair bug.
It’s normal for us girls to give in to hair temptations. And to be stuck inside for this long with nothing else but our thoughts? That’s just a recipe for hair disaster.
The same thing happened with Miley Cyrus. Luckily, her mother was there to help her out. Which is why her hair didn’t end up looking like a disaster.
That’s right. Miley decided to use the quarantine opportunity to transform her hair into a pixie mullet. I mean, what better time than now to experiment with your hair? It’s not like anyone would get to see it. If you mess it up, you’ll have time to grow it out before you get to go out in to the world again.
How Miley Got Her Pixie Mullet?
The singer showed off her edgy new haircut on Instagram story. She achieved the short pixie look with a mullet edge with the help of her mother, Tish Cyrus, who did the cut. However, it was actually Sally Hershberger, celeb hairstylist, who was the brains of this operation. She guided Tish through FaceTime. She also posted a picture of Miley’s short new look on her Instagram and captioned it, “I trained Tish well!;) @tishcyrus @mileycyrus #virtualhaircut lol.”
It was only months before that Miley had debuted a “modern mullet” style. However, as Sally revealed, it wasn’t the final haircut she wanted. “Miley wanted to go more punk. She wanted something edgy,” Sally told E! News back when she gave Miley her previous haircut. “We went with a modern mullet that she can wear sleek, but also wavy and messy.”
