Logan Paul Thinks Harry Styles Wearing a Dress is Manly!

Published by

Logan Paul is trending on Twitter, and this time for all the right reasons. Harry Styles’ iconic Vogue cover where he is donning on a dress has sparked a huge debate online. While some are praising the singer for broadening the term masculinity by looking stunning in a dress, some keep saying that what he did was ‘unmanly’. Logan Paul is actually taking an interesting stance, which is earning him a lot of praise.

Here’s Harry Styles’ iconic Vogue Cover

We all knew Harry Styles to be a fashion icon pulling off fantastic outfits in all shapes and forms. Everyone was in awe when he showed up at the Met Gala wearing a gender neutral outfit:

And fans were left speechless with his beautiful Vogue Cover shoot:

Harry styles told Vogue:

When you take away ‘There’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women,’ once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play. It’s like anything—anytime you’re putting barriers up in your own life, you’re just limiting yourself.”

Logan Paul thinks Harry Styles is still manly wearing a dress

I’d never thought I’d say this but Logan Paul has won me over with the way he thinks. In the latest episode of his podcast ‘Impaulsive’, the older Paul brother vehemently takes Harry Styles’ side. While, debating with his co-hosts Mike Maljak and George Janko, Logan Paul says ‘wearing a dress is still manly’.

The hosts of ‘Impaulsive’ were reacting to what Candace Owens had said about Harry Styles Vogue Cover. She was criticizing it and said, ‘Bring Back Manly Men’.

George Janko declares his opinion, ‘It ain’t manly bro’. To which Logan Paul is visibly surprised and asks Janko ‘Why?’

What is manly to you? What does it mean? Is manly like being comfortable in your own skin and being comfortable with who you are? Regardless of what people think about what you’re wearing?

When George Janko tried to defend his ‘opinion’ of not thinking Harry Styles wearing a dress is manly, Mike Maljak tried to be a peacemaker between the two. Mike asked Logan why ‘he’s being so combative towards George’.

Logan Paul slammed both George and Mike,

You’re the type of people that will look at it and say ‘No, man gotta be a man, can’t wear dresses’. Suck a d**k bro! I would do this in a heartbeat.

Mike Maljak then shared a valid point that this Vogue Cover sparks a conversation and a debate. But then George Janko stated there was a ‘problem’ with people like Logan Paul getting angry at different opinions which prevents conversation from happening.

Logan Paul again claps back and points out:

I’m listening to you telling me you ‘don’t wanna judge people’ and then watching you judge people. So, yeah. I’m listening. I’m not getting angry. I’m just calling you out for your flaw.

When George Janko says, ‘Okay, so now my opinion is a flaw?’, Logan Paul clarifies that he’s just talking about George’s ‘lack of logic’. The conversation becomes so heated that George also states Logan Paul is “assaulting” him.

Do you even know what assault means? I’m saying your lack of logic will lose you your argument.

But Mike Maljak brings the conversation back to normal saying that ‘there’s nothing wrong with him [Harry Styles] wearing that’ but that it was important to understand what point Harry is trying to make.

The debate of having opinions in a polarized America

Then Mike opens up the conversation about how America is being ‘force-fed’ things such as the Harry Styles Vogue cover, and then told about how to ‘feel’ about said things. Mike and George’s main problem wasn’t the fact that Harry Styles wore a dress but rather their problem with how people aren’t allowed to have their own opinions of it.

The main contention was the differing views of mainly George Janko and Logan Paul of what constitutes as “manly”. Logan Paul didn’t think changing clothes makes someone less of a man. Meanwhile George and Mike believe that’s okay to have that opinion.

Even though George Janko did clarify that he would treat Harry Styles the same way as if he was wearing jeans.

Mike Maljak even asked Logan Paul if he would wear a dress when he goes into the boxing ring. To which Logan Paul replied:

Because you said that, maybe.

Logan Paul still shared that he liked people that go against the norms and challenge the status quo.

Meanwhile Mike and George still don’t understand why people have to just believe in one ideology and how there’s no room for having a difference of opinion anymore.
