Even though Kristin Cavallari’s divorce with Jay Cutler left both Kristin and her fans dejected, it seems that our favorite actress has finally decided to move on. The actress was spotted kissing America Comedian, Jeff Dye, just a few days back and fans are curious to know if its just a short fling or something more. And we have tea to spill!
Kristin Cavallari is moving on six months after splitting from husband Jay Cutler. The 33 years old actor has reportedly embarked on a new romance with 37 years old Jeff Dye. On the 10th of this month, Saturday, our very own very Cavallari star was spotting making out with the comedian in Chicago. It turns out that the pair has been “casually” dating – their words not ours. According to an insider, the duo started talking few weeks ago when Jeff contacted Kristin via Instagram. The insider also confirmed that the two were dating. The source said:
“Kristin and Jeff started talking a few weeks ago. He reached out to her via DM on Instagram and she replied. It is only developed into something more as of recent. They’re dating, but it’s pretty casual right now”
The source also added that Kristin was loving the big change from 47 years old NFL star ex Jay Cutler to Comedian Jeff dye. But the actress has decided to keep her children a top priority in her love life. According to the source:
“She loves [Jeff’s] comedic structure because she has a really dry sense of humor and so does Jeff. Jay is the total opposite of Jeff. She is taking things very slow because of the kids and the divorce. She does not want to jeopardize her kids understanding of everything because they are so young and what exactly this means to them, but she likes spending time with him”
After several years of dating, Jay and Kristin got married back in June of 2013, but sadly got divorced back in April of 2020. The couple share three kids together: Camden, 8; Jaxon, 6; and Saylor, 4.
The reality star filed for divorce in April and did not speak at length about what happened until this week for People’s new issue. Explaining that the breakup did not happen all of a sudden, Kristin addressed the reason for her split. It is reported that the couple tried to repair their relationship for years before calling it off. The two co-parent their kids together. Kristin said:
“It didn’t happen overnight. We tried really, really hard for years and years. It was the hardest decision I have ever made. I still care so much about him and talk to him almost every day. We have three kids together. He’s going to be in my life forever.”
However, one of the main reasons of the divorce was that they outgrew each other. She confessed, saying:
“Every relationship has their stuff. I met Jay when I was 23. I was a baby. Jay and I had so much love for each other, but we grew up. When you work at something for so many years and nothing is changing, I think you have to just make a decision. We all want to be happy.”
