The new movie Jumanji: The Next Level hit the theatres back in December 2019 and since then it has been going up and above. The movie earned Sony a revenue of more than $ 781 million worldwide and is now set for release in DVDs and Blu-Ray. Perhaps that is why stars are still marketing the movie. For instance, Karen Gillan shared an old photo back during the filming days with Awkwafina. Remember, Awkwafina is an incredible talent, also winning her first Golden Globe for The Farewell.
Karen Gillan Hanging On To Awkwafina
Gillan posted a picture where she was hanging on to Awkwafina with green sheets behind her. She also wrote that this was one of her favorite pictures from behind the scene. Take a look at her post below:

Awkwafina also replied to this, telling that this was her first day on the set.
“My first day on set. This was so fun – ily !!”
The new Jumanji movie doesn’t only bring back Karen Gillan. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart also return. Nick Jonas, Rhys Darby, Alex Wolff, and Morgan Turner are also starring in the movie. Newcomers include Danny DeVito, Dania Ramirez, and Danny Glover.
While Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner wrote the script, Jake Kasdan was in the director’s chair to bring things to life. For Kasdan, he loves the Jumanji series; at one point he also expressed a liking towards the series and its revival. Here is what he said back then:
“It’s a big part of what we’ve all loved about that story and that movie was that it was this big fantasy that has kind of like a real kind of like strong, emotional center to it, and I do think that’s a big part of what DJ responded to about it in the first place, and I know it’s a big part of what I loved about it.”
Jumanji: The Next Level starring Karen Gillan, Awkwafina, The Rock, and others is available on Blu-Ray and 4K Ultra from March 3.
