Digging into the love-life of Johnny Depp was not on my to-do list this year. However, seems like we are going to take the plunge after seeing a trend formation. Apparently, Johnny Depp has a thing for younger ladies. We might be wrong but the equation fits.
Johnny Depp | A brief and unnecessary intro
Everyone knows who Depp is. Every single character played by him is so vibrant and indulging, it sets the bars high. Then a new movie is out and we are completely mesmerized by his new character. We are still going to leave a brief introduction here.
Johnny Depp is an American actor, producer, and musician. He was born on June 9, 1963. He has won numerous awards and we’re still expecting more for him. (As soon as the coast is clear i.e. the $50 million defamation lawsuit gets resolved).
His first movie was A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). His upcoming drama film Minamata is premiering at the Berlin International Film Festival this month.
Initial Relationships
In 1983, at a tender age of 20 (freshly out of his teenage), Johnny Depp married Lori Anne Allison. She was a makeup artist. Lori Anne introduced her husband to Nicolas Cage. The meeting resulted in Depp getting cast in his first movie: A Nightmare on Elm Street. They got divorced in 1985.
Johnny Depp started dating Sherilyn Fenn a couple of years after his divorce. They were rumored to be engaged, but the news was never confirmed. The couple broke up in the late 1980s.
Next came Jennifer Grey in 1989. Both were rumored to be engaged but nothing was confirmed. They broke up soon enough.
Johnny Depp formed a power couple with Winona Ryder in 1990. Both worked together in Edward Scissorhands. They got engaged after 5 months of dating. She was 19 at that time. Depp was 27. Winona’s father was not in favor of this relationship because she was too young at that time. Depp even had Winona Forever tattooed on his arm. But he got it adjusted as Wino Forever after the couple split.

Then, there was Kate Moss. In 1994, Johnny Depp started dating Kate Moss, the British supermodel. The relationship lasted a few years, filled with parties and adventures before they broke up.
Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradis
The longest relationship Johnny ever had was with Vanessa Paradis. Even though they did not get married, the couple stayed together for 14 years and share two children: Lily-Rose Melody Depp and Jack John Christopher Depp III. They started dating in 1998 when Johnny Depp was 35-years-old while Vanessa Paradis was 26-years-old. In 2012, they separated.

Johnny Depp & Amber Heard
Oh boy, this one marriage cost a lot to Depp. The couple started dating in 2012 and got married in 2015. However, Amber Heard filed for divorce in 2016 stating physical and mental abuse as the reason behind her decision. She also applied for a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp. The divorce was finalized in 2017. And just recently, tables have turned and Depp has come up with the proofs that he was a victim of Amber Heard’s abuse.
When they started dating, Depp was 49-years-old while Amber Heard was 26-years-old. (same age as Vanessa Paradis when she started dating Depp. The difference, it happened after 14 years).

Polina Glen
His relationship with Amber Heard has affected his post-divorce life in more than one way. Johnny Depp started dating a Russian beauty: Polina Glen. They started dating in 2018 when Depp was 55-years-old while Polina Glen was 23-years-old. She moved in with Depp after dating him for a few weeks. However, paparazzi, media and the impending doom of $50 million lawsuit scared her so much she fled to Russia.
Polina Glen’s father is 4 years younger than Johnny Depp. However, that did not deter her initially. If it was not for the media craziness, she might have stayed with Depp instead of breaking up with him. It was even reported that Glen did not even know who Depp was.
