The new trailer for Jim Carrey starer Sonic the Hedgehog movie is out. The initial glimpse was met with criticism. Looks like the fans have given the new and redesigned trailer a thumbs-up. It will hit the cinemas on Valentine’s Day next year. It will be the actor’s first major release after his break-up with Ginger Gonzaga.

The new movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, which is set to release next year, is a live version of a well-known video-game franchise from Sega. The story revolves around the hedgehog, Sonic, as the brash blue fur-ball sets to understand the complex life on Earth.
His new-found friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) and himself join forces to defeat and stop Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey), from catching Sonic & using his superpowers to dominate the planet.
Voice actors, Tika Sumpter and Ben Shwartz give life to Sonic’s character.

The clip shows the hedgehog on a run across the country as he causes a massive power blackout on earth.
The new, redesigned trailer of Jim Carrey starer, Sonic the Hedgehog movie, sees the blue creature with noticeably smaller teeth and bigger eyes compared to the earlier version. Sonic says this in the trailer as he tries to protect the powers.
