Jared Leto Morbius Confirmed | He won’t be appearing in Doctor Strange 2 now

Jared Leto is making an appearance in Morbius and this news is now confirmed after some photo leaks. Looks like 30 Seconds to Mars star will not be appearing as Nightmare in Doctor Strange 2.

What is Jared Leto’s Morbius about and Is he going to appear in Doctor Strange 2 as Nightmare?

Jared Leto’s latest offering is going to be Morbius by Sony Marvel Universe. Daniel Espinosa’s upcoming film will see Suicide Squad’s Joker embody the role of Michael Morbius. There were some photo leaks of Jared Leto in his new character and the fans are loving it.

The plotline of the movie revolves around Michael Morbius who is a biochemist with a rare form of blood disease. In an attempt to cure himself sees Michael turns into a monster.

According to sources, Matt Smith plays the movie’s villain, Loxias Crown who also suffers from the same blood deformity. Adria Arjona plays the role of Morbius’ love interest and Tyreese Gibson is an FBI agent. Morbius also stars Jared Harris alongside the star-studded cast.

Leto Won’t be in Doctor Strange 2 Anymore

The confirmation of Jared Leto as Morbius means he will not be appearing alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange 2. When Marvel’s Kevin Feige confirmed most of the cast for Doctor Strange 2, rumors about Leto’s Nightmare started surfacing as well. Other names for the role of Nightmare included James McAvoy, Cillian Murphy, and Dan Stevens. Things look quite shaky for Doctor Strange 2 after Scott Derrickson pulls out of the project as well.

Jared’s upcoming anti-hero movie has not seen much activity officially. The photo leaks earlier this Saturday are the only thing keeping the fans interested at the moment. Espinosa’s Morbius will hit the screens at the end of July 2020. Dankanator will keep you updated on the project.
