According to the UEFA website, Imagine Dragons’ lead vocalist Dan Reynolds is quite excited about the band’s big break. He said: “We’re honored to be playing the UEFA Champions League final opening ceremony with Pepsi for some of the most passionate sports fans on the planet.” Dan Reynolds later added, “It’s going to be a great show in Madrid”.
The ceremony’s primary sponsor, Pepsi is boasting a grand level of production for the UCL final opening ceremony. UEFA has partnered for the fourth time with Pepsi for its Champions League Finale. The band performed alongside musicians and other musical troupes including, Neil Young, Logic, Pharrell Williams, and One Republic.
