After the events of the first film, the group is now great friends and contentedly resides beneath a glacier. They learn that the glacier is actually a dam holding back a big amount of water that might suddenly collapse. The team then sets out on its way to safety. On their journey, they encounter Ellie, a female mammoth. She brings a certain relief to Manny the mammoth as he believes he is the last of his kind. As the team tries to defeat adversaries and save friends, a sequence of misadventures happens, giving us comic relief.
