TikTok stars and best friends Josh Richards and Griffin Johnson have officially launched a Sports Agency ‘CrossCheck Sports’ today. The duo are excited to join hands on another entrepreneurial project together, this time focusing on their love for sports. For this sports agency, they have collaborated with their long-term business partners Michael Gruen and Marshall Sandman.

The branding of ‘CrossCheck’ sports is similar to CrossCheck Studios which was an agency Richards found in collaboration with Mark Wahlberg’s production studio Unrealistic Ideas. But CrossChecks Sports is a separate venture under the CrossCheck holding company.
The aim of CrossCheck Sports will be to sign on basketball players and eventually sign on other athletes as well. Veteran agent Zachary Charles, who is both the International Basketball Federation(FIBA) and National Basketball Players (NBPA) certified, is going to lead the project. Previously, Charles was working with the sports agency Young Money AAPA Sports.
Moreover, CrossChecks will help the players with getting jobs and endorsement contracts. They will also help in guiding the players with marketing and branding. Michael Gruen also adds that CrossCheck Sports already has a few clients that are considering joining. However, the company will be in full gear in 2022.
“I have always been a huge fan of basketball and launching CrossCheck Sports allows me to be involved beyond being a fan. We are going to grow recognition for our clients in a way that has never been done before and will leave no stone unturned, utilizing every resource available, on our quest to become the best sports agency in the world.”
Josh Richards also has other several business ventures. He is the founder and co-host of the BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy. Moreover, his TalentX Entertainment agency was recently bought by ReKTGlobal. Plus, he also collaborated with Griffin Johnson on another business venture, Animal Capital. It’s a VC firm that they created alongside Noah Beck.
It seems like these TikTok stars mean business. Quite literally! They’re not backing down and seems like it’s only uphill from here.
