Everything We Know About Eternals 2

In 2021, Marvel Studios released another movie ‘Eternals’ with a major cast including Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Barry Keoghan, Harry Styles, Kit Harington, and many more. Eternals is the 26th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is directed by Chloe Zhao. The theme of the movie revolves around immortal human beings who come after long hiding to protect Earth from their enemies, Deviants. This particular movie from Marvel Studios has mixed reviews. Some people loved the cast and some people didn’t like the pace and the character development. In November 2021, directors Kaz and Ryan Firpo came forward showing interest in making a sequel for Eternals. Will there be Eternals 2 any time soon?

Details on Eternals 2: Will Zhao be directing again?

Marvel Studios has not yet announced any release date and it does not seem to come anytime soon. Marvel Studios has a lot to release yet including Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Its release date is in 2023. The movie Blade and Fantastic four is also awaiting for a concrete release date. So, no one knows when will it be the Eternals 2 turn. Recently, in an interview, Chloe Zhao was asked about Eternals 2. The star refused to give an answer to that question.

Eternals post-credit scene

There was an important teaser in the post-credit scene of Eternals. It is the reason why fans have hope and believe there’s more to unfold in the sequel for the Eternals. The storyline showed Harry Styles’ character Starfox (the brother of Thanos) as well. In the ending, it was shown that the Eternals defeated Tiamut after disobeying their leader, Arishem. They separate their ways afterward.

However, they are mistaken because Arishem takes the characters Sersi, Kingo, and Phastos from the Earth. While many characters died or vanished, some from the Eternals are expected to show up in Eternals 2. These include Gemma Chan, Lauren Ridloff Makkari, Kumail Nanjiani, Barry Keoghan, Angelina Jolie, and some more.

As for the trailer or any other news, there is not much. When Marvels Studio will give a call the production will start.
