Dixie D’Amelio is a 19-year-old social media influencer, singer, and a TikTok star. She is the reigning queen of TikTok these days following the steps of her baby sister Charli D’Amelio. Dixie is not only a hit on TikTok, but she has also managed to earn her place in the music industry in very little time. In 2020, Dixie released the music video of her song on YouTube which crossed 44 million views leaving Kanye West and Travis Scott behind. I mean, that’s a BIG WIN.
Both the sisters are a strong team given that Charli has over 100 million followers on Tiktok and Dixie has over 50 million followers making them one of the most popular creators on the platform. But being popular on social media comes with its own disadvantages as well. Like, both the sisters are often part of the conversations and mocking, which can have a negative impact on them. Recently, on TikTok, it has become a trend to do impression of Dixie’s voice. People are imitating what Dixie said in an interview with the Vogue and from other interviews as well.

Dixie D’Amelio explained why she is altering her voice
Dixie D’Amelio also appeared on the BFF podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards and reacted to some of the viral videos about her voice.

In an episode of the 2 Chix Podcast, the popular star of TikTok explained that the ‘mocking’ videos have made her want to put an effort into altering her voice. She said that now she’s making a conscious effort to change her monotone voice because of the impressions of her on TikTok.
She further added:
I have been talking a lot more which I don’t love but I have also been trying to change my voice because it’s annoying. Obviously, you guys know that there are bunch of videos making fun of my voice. I understand I am very monotoned and it’s really annoying I never really noticed it until it was called out.
Dixie D’Amelio further shared that she has been trying to talk better, that too with a smile on her face. She asked the fans to let her know if her voice is still annoying otherwise she won’t be talking anymore.
