Viewers were enthralled in the fights that took place on June 12. And there were some incredible fights, like Tayler Holder vs. AnEsonGib, and Austin McBroom vs. Bryce Hall, which sent social media in a frenzy. One of the shockers of the night was Deji’s defeat at the hands of Vinnie Hacker. It was the only win for TikTok throughout the night, and it looks like, despite YouTube’s win, Deji took that defeat quite seriously.

Ever since the fight, Deji has been calling himself a failure. His old brother KSI consoled him as well, saying some kind words underneath his tweet:

Finally, Deji decided to take a break from all of his social media accounts. He made the announcement in a brief YouTube video, barely one and a half minutes long. He told the viewers:

I don’t want to talk too much because actions speak louder than words, and I know what I need to do. I’m gonna be taking a break from social media, and I’m just gonna be working on myself because that’s what I need to do.

Deji further explained the reason for his break, saying he wants to box again and needs to train harder:

I need to work on my cardio. I need to work on just myself as a whole, because I do wanna box again.

Lastly, Deji reassured the fans that he is completely fine and there is nothing to be concerned about, saying:

Don’t worry about me. I am all good, as you can see I’m all cheerful, I’m happy, this isn’t a facade. I’m living life, alright. I needed this. This is something that’s just gonna ultimately help me in the future.
