Ian Somerhalder and Matt Davis are co-stars in the CW Series The Vampire Diaries. Matt Davis played the role of Alaric Saltzman, a vampire slayer, whereas Ian played the notorious Damon Salvatore. Both hated each other at the beginning of the series; however, their hatred turned into on-screen bromance. Not to forget, Alaric was also Damon’s step-father-in-law in the series though we never saw that relationship highlighted anywhere. The Vampire Diaries wrapped up in 2017. However, the on-screen bromance between Ian and Matt is still burning.
Their recent meeting was in Mandeville Lakefront instead of Mystic Falls. Ian Somerhalder thanked Matt Davis for his support and presence during the Mardi Paws 25th Anniversary Parade on March 10, 2019. Matt Davis attended the parade as a Celebrity Monarch. Ian Somerhalder Foundation organized the charity event.
Denise Gutnisky is the founder of Mardi Paws, who started the all-volunteer crew in 1994. Audrey Nethery also attended the 25th anniversary of Mardi Paws. She is a 9-year-old suffering from a rare blood disorder called Diamond-Blackfan Anemia. Mardi Paws’ title is derived from the carnival labeled Mardi Gras. Mardi Paws is all about the dogs and their poop! Yes, you read it right. It is a trademarked fundraiser carnival for dogs.

Ian Somerhalder is an actor, producer, and director known for his infamous character Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. He may have played the role of a ruthless vicious, blood-thirsty vampire that killed thousands of humans. However, real-life Ian is a true environmentalist, humanitarian, and animal advocate. Ian is the Founder and President of ISF, i.e., Ian Somerhalder Foundation. He is also a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador.
Ian Somerhalder has also created a wine called Dark II Dawn which was initially launched in China only. The wine is expected to hit the global market soon. He is also working on the series V Wars, which will be coming to Netflix this year.
