Met Gala 2022 was held on May 2nd at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme of this year’s Met Gala was Gilded Glamour. Fans expected celebrities to enhance their beauty and style by presenting themselves in the ‘Bridgerton’ kind of clothes. Fans were heavily waiting for their favorite celebrities to show up in gowns, crowns, and suits and display their wealth rightfully. However, that was not quite the case on the day of the Met Gala. Hardly, few celebrities were on the theme. Some went ahead and wore normal party clothes with an apparent black color in their outfit. Others did not care to put much effort. Luckily, there is always a group of celebrities that ‘understand the assignment’. Blake Lively is one of those intelligent and glamourous celebrities.

The actress who played the popular character of Serena Woodsen on the show ‘Gossip Girl’ never stands behind when it comes to fashion. Almost at every Met Gala, Blake has shown out her incredible choices and beautiful display of dresses. Moreover, she is always on the theme. At the 2022 Met Gala, Blake showed up in a dazzling gown made by Versace. She displayed the dress in two parts. The first one was brown in color with matching gloves. The second was bluish-green with the same color gloves.

The transformation happened on the stairs when one of the men unveiled the color by letting a part of the dress fall on the stairs. It displayed a breathtaking opening of another color in the dress with eye-catching details. Blake Lively’s Met Gala dress caught everyone’s attention and it was hard to compete with.

Blake told E-News on the red carpet that the Empire State Building has been the inspiration for the front part of her dress. Furthermore, the back of her dress resembles constellations seen on the ceiling of the Grand Central Terminal in NYC. Moreover, her clutch was inspired by Brooklyn Bridge with the initials of her kids on it. Blake Lively’s Met Gala dress got the most attention and it was almost everyone’s favorite.
