So much so, that there are multiple derogatory memes about Rae’s Met Gala debut. One particular meme about her serving Lady Gaga is going viral. However, she is unbothered and would gladly be Gaga’s waitress.

Although the actual guest list is not revealed until the big day, there is a leaked one circulating.

Last year, Met Gala got postponed due to the pandemic. However, the prestigious gala is back in business and will be held in September. This year, the theme is In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. While the guests are not revealed until the day, there is a leaked list going viral. Among the A-list celebrities like the Kardashians, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, many social media stars will be attending. The TikTokers and YouTubers are also going to make their debut this year. It includes Addison Rae, James Charles, Emma Chamberlain, Bretman Rock, and the D’Amelio sisters. Interestingly, the seating plan shows that Addison Rae will be sitting right opposite Beyonce. At the same time, the likes of Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Naomi Campbell, and Tom Brady will also be sitting at the same table.

After the list went viral, Addison Rae received a lot of backlash.

The inclusion of TikTokers and YouTubers did not sit well with people. Mainly, it was the names like Addison Rae which pissed people off. From writing derogatory comments to making memes, people did not hold back. While some were not at all on board with including the TikTokers, others objected to the seating plan.

One Twitter user could not believe that Addison Rae will be sitting at the same table as Donatella Versace and Beyoncé.

Although she kept mum, for the most part, Addison Rae did comment on one specific meme. According to the hypothetical scenario, Lady Gaga meets Addison Rae on Met Gala and mistakes her for the waitress. Despite Rae explaining who she is, Gaga does not change her stance. Instead of getting offended by it, Rae shared it on her Twitter account. At the same time, she tagged Lady Gaga and wrote:

I would do anything for you.

Although Lady Gaga did not respond, it shows that Addison Rae is not going to be let the haters get to her. Despite the constant criticism, Rae is not slowing down and is all set to make it big in Hollywood.
