This Daniel’s masterpiece takes a Chinese-American family that runs a laundromat business and puts them into an action-packed comedy that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It’s the kind of film that is an achievement in editing and special effects but that’s not all.

It is a telling of the unfortunate nature of inequality, which always somehow persists. This one is one of the more artistic and raw films to be nominated this year. And it is not to be missed for those looking for a more profound cinematic experience to read into.

Director Sarah Polley’s adaptation of the novel with the same title Women Talking brings together an ensemble of Hollywood’s finest screen actresses.
