Star Wars’ final movie of the Skywalker Saga might have caused a great stir among the franchise fans, but it is something they will hold dear forever. Disney is soon releasing the Episode IX titled, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, for BluRay and DVD, but when is it coming to Disney Plus? Starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Mark Hamill, we saw how Emperor Palpatine’s kin decided to throw her surname and join Skywalker instead.
The Rise Of Skywalker Release Date For Disney Plus?
One of the questions prospective viewers and fans of the franchise keep searching is The Rise of Skywalker release date on Disney Plus. As much as we all want Disney or Star Wars to answer this, there is no confirmation, unfortunately. People might have to wait for Ridley’s final Star Wars movie a bit longer if they want to see it on Disney’s streaming platform. However, people will have an option to shift to alternatives soon. The new Star Wars film is making a digital release on April 13, 2020.
The US had already brought forward its digital release, but there is no change for the audience in the UK. While Disney Plus has yet to announce a release date for The Rise of Skywalker, people can pre-order from Amazon and Sky Store. Moreover, the movie is also coming to hard formats, DVD, BluRay and 4K. The CD versions have a release date set only a week apart, April 20, 2020.
The Star Wars Episode IX Was Not Exactly What Fans Wanted
While people may debate whether the movie is a great one, one cannot overlook the plot holes that follow? We never knew what Finn wanted to say to Rey in the mud. Was he confessing his love or revealing that he was sensitive to the Force? Moreover, the final Rey Skywalker scene sparked a great deal of debate as well. Will these debates restart when The Rise of Skywalker comes to Disney Plus or other platforms?
