Nick Jonas, the 27-year-old American singer appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 25, 2020. At the age of seven, he was already acting. Back in 2002, he released a song that changed everything for him. Columbia records reached out to him and he formed a band with his brothers which we all love – Jonas Brothers.
Nick Jonas slays in Karaoke
Jimmy Fallon is one of the very cool hosts out there. Not only does he induce his guests into laughing fits, but he also gets them to play games as well. The games are well thought out and over the years we have got really hilarious content thanks to the show on YouTube. With Nick Jonas, Jimmy Fallon decided to play “Slay It, Don’t Spray It”.
Basically, the computer chooses a random song and the person whose turn it is has to sing the song with the right lyrics. Your opponent gets blasted with a spray of water if you get it right. Whereas, you get sprayed when you get the lyrics wrong.
Indeed the game was the right choice. I mean the audience loves when they get to listen to their favorite singer playing Karaoke in front of them. Who but Jimmy would play Karaoke with a singer? It is safe to say that it was Jimmy who got sprayed the most. He was dripping by the end of the segment.
Nick Jonas got a new gig on ‘The Voice’ and Jimmy had to ask him about how it was going. His fellow coaches include Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. Out of all of them, he said that he is intimidated by John Legend. Of course, it is a joke made by Nick. He had fun with the judges because their chemistry was great.
Jimmy Fallon did one more thing. He roasted the poor guy over the Grammy performance by the Jonas Brothers. Nick Jonas had spinach stuck to his teeth and he didn’t find out until after the performance. The #SpinachGate situation made him the center of tons of jokes but he says he was humbled by the whole experience nonetheless.
