Jojo Siwa breaks up with girlfriend Katie Mills after controversial past brought up

According to reports, Jojo Siwa girlfriend came under-fire for past controversial views, and the couple called it quits. It was only few months ago that Dancing with the Stars was seen out and about with Katie Mills. However, Mills’ past pro-Trump comments and anti-Trans views came to light. Instantly, she received major backlash from people. Despite her clarification, people were disappointed. Recently, Siwa announced in a TikTok video that she is single.

After her breakup with Kylie Prew, Jojo Siwa started dating Katie Mills. The couple seemed happy and in love. On her social media, the singer also shared clips of herself and her then girlfriend at the Lakers game. However, Jojo Siwa’s ex-girlfriend is facing backlash for her past comments about Trump and Trans women. As is the norm, people started digging in Mills past and found some questionable things. In the now-deleted tweets, Jojo Siwa girlfriend had praised Trump and criticized Biden. She wrote:

I’m sorry @realDonaldTrump we let you down.

Lord help us if Biden gets elected.

Trump won the presidency because he is not a politician. He is a fighter for the American people. And that is why he will win again.

At the same time, she had liked a tweet which said: Trans women are women. If yes, retweet, if no, like.

After these tweets resurfaced, she took to Twitter to address the matter.

In a series of tweets, Jojo Siwa girlfriend, Katie Mills explained her side. According to her, there are few things which Trump did right and some that he did not. Similarly, she said that the same goes for Biden. At the same time, she said:

Some of my bestest and most dearest friends are of different races and color. I don’t view them any differently. I love them for who they are and always will. At the beginning of 2020 I participated in the ghetto girl Tik Tok trend that was going around.

Furthermore, she talked about the Trans women tweet and said:

In 2018 there was a tweet that went around saying “Is a transgender woman actually a woman? retweet for yes, like for no” I had liked the comment… I am ashamed. I have known I was gay since I was 11 years old.

According to Jojo Siwa’s new TikTok, she is single now.

After Jojo Siwa girlfriend received the backlash and the fans wanted answers from the singer, she had some news to share. On her TikTok, she shared her favorite music, personal priority, jo priority, pinned texts, current obsession and relationship status. To the surprise of many, she revealed that she is single. While no further detail is revealed, Jojo Siwa fans are delighted that she did not continue her relationship with Mills.
