Oh Jeffree Star is launching his Weed business! He decided to launch his own weed business after Michigan state allows the legal use of recreational marijuana.
Jeffree star is a being of many talents! Some may know him from his music career from the time of MySpace, and some might know his amazing makeup brand Jeffree cosmetics, and most would know him from his YouTube channel where he reviews makeup products and often throws shade at the drama community. He certainly has been a controversial figure in the past. Shane Dawson, the king of docuseries on YouTube, did a series on him where we got to know of some real truths about the millionaire mogul known as Jeffree Star.
He launched his online makeup brand, ‘Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ in 2014. Thereafter, he started promoting his brand via YouTube, and thus became a popular YouTuber. Jeffree Star collects 9 million subscribers and over 1 billion views in 2018.
In fact, his cosmetic ranges are as bold as his personality. The high quality products are long-lasting, and incorporate purely organic ingredients. Moreover, the first wall and bricks Jeffree Star Cosmetics store opened at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey on August 11th this year.
This Tuesday, Michigan State legalized marijuana for adult recreational use. Thus, Michigan has now become the first state in the Midwest to allow the legal use of weed. However, under the proposal, marijuana plants cannot be visible from a public place. It had taken a year to develop the legal policies regarding the use of marijuana as a recreational weed.
Though, Jeffree Star is quite about his weed use and was pleased to hear the news. The makeup artist was planning to build another empire focusing on weed which would support his other businesses as well. This idea led to the launch of his new eye shadow palette, Alien.
Jeffree Star once tweeted,
‘As soon as the laws officially change, I’ll be building my own empire in Grand Rapids and beyond… amazing news,’
Grand Rapids is the second-largest city in the US state Michigan. Jeffree was based Los Angeles, California, where weed is already legal.
