Game of Thrones Actress Gwendoline Christie In Horror Movie ‘In Fabric’

The English actress is famous for her iconic character in the HBO-blockbuster show ‘Game of Thrones’. She played Brienne of Tarth-(Knight of House Tarth) . Gwendoline Christie In-Fabric

Gwendoline Christie is one of the lead cast of Peter Strickland’s horror movie In Fabric. She played the role of Gwen in the movie. As the name of the movie indicates, the film follows a cursed dress.

The In-Fabric Promotion

Gwendoline is the  ‘Queen of Memes’ according to the New York Times, May 2019 publication. The actress, in fact, promoted her horror movie on her social media account.

In Fabric,  also stars Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018. The film later hit the theatres on June 28th 2019. A beautiful yet evil red dress was purchased from a department store during the winter. The dress perhaps got hungry for blood. It, hence, took a journey from owner to owner haunting each possessor. As a  matter of fact, the movie is a blend of horror, comedy and lust.

The Moody Actress

Moreover, at the London premiere of the movie, Gwendoline Christie wore a sleeveless knee-length little black dress with rose-like detailing from Comme des Garçons. The tall (6ft.3 1/4inches) actress, in fact, posted this red carpet appearance as MOODY. The actress is the popular Captain Phasma from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017).

Gwendoline Christie’s Other  Projects

In 2018, Christie acted in The Darkest Minds, a teen thriller showcasing supernatural abilities. She also did Welcome to Marwen with Steve Carell.

Game of Thrones’ Brienne of Tarth is Pretty Picky

For her selected roles, the moody actress Gwendoline Christie commented on playing Brienne of Tarth;

To be involved in something that is genuinely challenging gender stereotyping is what I’ve always wanted. I don’t have to worry about whether I look attractive. Brienne looks like a bag of dung – that’s the character and that’s fine – so I can focus on other things.
