On this women’s day, Cara Delevingne joined hands with the UN’s initiative, Girl Up Campaign, to create awareness about gender equality. She has been linked with the campaign since 2016.
In 2009, she signed a contract with Storm Management. However, she shot her first editorial for Vogue Italia at the age of 10. After two seasons of casting and doing unpaid jobs, she booked her first runway show. Since then, Cara Delevingne has worked for Burberry, Jason Wu, Oscar De La Rante, Tory Burch, YSL, Chanel and Givenchy. Not only that, she has worked in several films and TV shows like Paper Towns, Anna Karenina, Suicide Squad, Carnival Row. Cara Delevingne has also been a part of many causes and awareness campaigns.
In order to help UN agencies who work for adolescent girls, Girl Up Campaign was launched in 2010. It works on giving equal chance for education, health, social and economic opportunities as well as a violence-free life to girls of developing countries. Through their leadership development program, Girl Up has helped 58,000 girls in 12 countries. Cara Delvingne has been associated with the campaign since 2016.
Equal Everywhere helps create awareness about gender equality. It means that every girls have equal opportunities to be whoever she wants to be. She has no barriers or hardships in her way. In an Instagram post, Cara Delevingne asked her followers what Equal Everywhere means to them. She said:

-Endure hunger
