Brad Pitt May Play MCU’s Version Of Superman!

Rumors are circulating that Brad Pitt may become a part of the MCU, and may play the MCU's version of Superman, 'Hyperion'!

After a lucrative career playing critically acclaimed films, it looks like Brad Pitt is set to try his luck in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It is being reported that Pitt is being considered to play the MCU’s version of Superman!

At first, Marvel made superstars out of actors like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, etc. But now, it looks like Marvel is taking a whole new approach. After hiring Angelina Jolie to play in the Eternals, it seems that the MCU is now after A-list actors. And now, it seems they’re on their way to hiring Brad Pitt. You can’t go any bigger than that!

According to a report in We Got This Covered, the MCU is reportedly eyeing Brad Pitt for a major role in the franchise. They had been trying to cast the ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ actor for a while. In fact, the MCU tried to hire Pitt to play a major villain in the franchise to replace Thanos. But, the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, changed his mind and instead thought Pitt is more suited to play the MCU’s Superman. And if the report is to be believed, he will play the role of Hyperion.

To put it simply, Hyperion is the MCU’s version of Superman. Created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Sal Buscema, Hyperion is originally an Eternal, who are a race of god-like superheroes with the duty to defend the Earth. He also possesses speed, superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and speed, and to put the cherry on top, can fly too. Sounds almost identical to the man of steel, right?
