Norman Reedus Tells The Walking Dead Finale Is Game of Thrones Battle

Just when The Walking Dead series was about to reach probably its most exciting part, the season was delayed due to the pandemic lock-down. However, Norman Reedus, who plays as Daryl Dixon, in the show keeps our hopes fired up by telling that the season 10 finale is going to be huge. Promising that it is going to be an ‘epic battle’, Reedus compared it with Game of Thrones battle. Does that mean that the wait will be worth it or is he pointing towards the epic plot holes that we all saw in HBO’s GoT? Reedus means the former.

Norman Reedus Had Fun Shooting Episode 16

While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus gave us a slight taste of what is coming in the season 10 finale. The last we saw in The Walking Dead was that Beta was leading the zombie horde towards the hospital where our heroes are hiding. With Alpha dead, Beta will go all out in anger in what looks to be his do or die situation.

If anyone thinks that a zombie battle will not happen, then perhaps listen to what Normal Reedus has to say:

It’s going to be an epic battle. It’s like a full-on Game of Thrones super war battle. It was a lot of fun to shoot, but we really pushed the crew and pushed the actors on that one. Everyone really had to dig deep because… talk about exhausting episodes! There were huge battle scenes until the wee hours of the morning consistently, and it looks so grand on an epic scale. Those battle scenes are going to be legendary.”

Norman Reedus even claimed that this show will go down in history! Do note that these comments come after executive producer Denis Huth told that there are going to be high-profile deaths. Unfortunately, we have to wait indefinitely because of the lockdown to see how epic the battle is going to be.
