It looks like the South Korean music industry is in for a great time. Apparently, Tiffany Young and both BTS fans are taking home awards. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards which were held on 14th March in Los Angeles, both the singer and the band’s fans won. But what’s even better is that South Korean music is going to get recognition in their own culture soon. The country is going to have its native Soompi Awards to celebrate their industry and culture.

Tiffany Young won in the best solo Breakout category. And the singer was pretty shocked as it was announced. She thanked her fans and all K-pop supporters for coming together and bringing these opportunities for her. And claimed that these people were the change
She also uploaded a short yet sweet message to Twitter thanking all her fans. Moreover, Young shared big moments from the night to her fans.
ARMY which is the BTS official fan club name also won the award for the Best Fan Army. And that proves that they are the most dedicated fan base ever. Especially, since they were competing with other strong fandoms like Ariana Grande’s Arianators, Justin Bieber’s Beliebers, and Taylor Swift’s Swifties. But what makes it even more special is that this is the second consecutive year of ARMY taking home this award. They took the title last year as well when BTS also won for the best boy band. The band members have congratulated all fans expressing how proud they were.
Tiffany Young is an American singer who was discovered by South Korean entertainment agency SM Entertainment at the age of fifteen and subsequently moved to South Korea. Popular songs include Lips on Lips, Born Again and Teach You.
