After a week of Twitter and the internet absolutely loving Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman in the new Batman movie, the internet is digging up the problematic past of the actress. She recently called out Will Smith for his assault on Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards. And as a result, many people were calling out for hypocrisy. People online dug up the problematic statements Zoë has made about Will’s son, Jaden Smith.

Zoë Kravitz admitted to being attracted to a 14-Year-Old Jaden Smith?!
In June 2013, a 24-year-old Zoë Kravitz did an interview with V Magazine where she talked about Jaden Smith who was 14 years old at the time. She made some statements that implied that she was attracted to Jaden:
“He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, when you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out…Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”

Many critics were bringing this up in response to Zoë Kravitz calling out Will Smith for his slap.
In addition to this, the actress was being called out for associating with men who are accused of domestic violence and sexual assault.
People were highlighting how Zoë Kravitz has been associating with Michael Fassbender and Alexander Wang over the years. Kravitz was in a relationship with Michael Fassbender in 2011 after they starred in the ‘X-Men: First Class’ movie together.
Michael Fassbender has faced allegations of domestic assault where he broke the nose of his then-girlfriend Sunawin Andrews. Fassbender was sleeping in his own urine after partying late at a festival. When Sunawin tried to wake him up, he allegedly threw a chair at her aggressively, breaking her nose as a result. She filed a report against him detailing:
“I went to the hospital and had a twisted left ankle, blown out left knee cap and a bursted ovarian cyst. Lots of internal bleeding.”
This occurrence happened around 2009 before Zoë got into a relationship with Michael Fassbender.
And lately, Zoë Kravitz was also seen hanging out with her friend Alexander Wang. Wang is a fashion designer who was accused of sexual assault in 2021. Keaton Bullen, a student at New York’s Parsons School of Design, told BBC of the alleged sexual assault incident that happened in 2019. Zoë Kravitz still associates with Wang, even after these allegations came to light.
There were also rumors that she dated an underage Ezra Miller, but that news has not been confirmed.

Moreover, a former employee at Essence Magazine (a Magazine with an audience primarily of African-American women), shared that Zoë Kravitz declined to do an interview with them. The reason she gave was that Essence isn’t her audience.
Right now, Will Smith has publicly apologized to Chris Rock for his slap at the Oscars. But many celebrities are calling Will out for his assault on the comedian. As a result, people are bringing up the problematic pasts of those that are defending Chris Rock.
