Durte Dom is a social media influencer and a musician who is predominantly famous for being part of David Dobrik’s Vlog Squad’. Recently, this media personality was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Los Angeles Police Department was searching for him. Apparently, this is not the first time, Dominykas Zeglaitis has been attached with problematic issues. Two women have accused Durte before of sexual assault. Furthermore, he had these sexual misconduct allegations which led him to leave ‘Vlog Squad’.

Los Angeles Police Considered Dom ‘A Person Of Interest’ Due To His TikTok Video Of Tesla Crashing
On March 21, 2022, the LA Police department reported about a Tesla crashing into two vehicles. On Twitter, LA police pointed out that they have received “50 tips” and they all are about Durte Dom. And they have an eye on Zeglaitis.
One of the predominant reasons for pointing fingers at Durte Dom is because of the videos he posted on his social media with the caption, “I just crashed my new Tesla”. The video posted on TikTok had 11 million views. Moreover, Durte Dom later made a YouTube video explaining that he was not part of the accident and that it was just a stunt.

Dom has claimed in the video that it all was fake and he did it to gain more views and fame. He also admitted to it on social media.

What Happened To The TikTok Account Of Durte Dom
Durte Dom claimed in his YouTube video that “We fooled the whole America”. TMZ and NBC also posted about this stunt. He said:
This proves that with right words, the right angles and just enough social proof you can make people believe in anything.
Furthermore, he said he was not even present at the scene. However, he linked GoFundMe to a neighbor ‘Jordan Hook’ whose car got damaged. Towards the end of his YouTube video, he showed the audience that his TikTok account has been taken down. He can’t even file an appeal as normal people can do.
