The Vlog Squad is no longer internet’s favorite squad. After multiple allegations of misconduct happening inside David Dobrik’s famous vlog videos, the squad is crumbling down. The major ones are the sexual assault allegations against Durte Dom (Dom Zeglaitis), including one rape incident. However, there are also other cases of mistreatment occurring inside the vlog squad group. One such case is that of Gabbie Hanna being bullied by David Dobrik, Zane Hijazi, and the rest of the group. Trisha Paytas has also spoken against the vlog squad and in favor of Gabbie Hanna.
Past videos of Vlog Squad bullying Gabbie Hanna resurface
One user compiled several bits of Gabbie Hanna being bullied mainly by David Dobrik. In one clip, she’s being called ugly and Dobrik is often comparing her face to hideous monster props.
There’s also a clip of her going to a mall with Dobrik and Liza Koshy and David asks her if she’s ever been to a beauty aisle. Then David answers his own question saying,
“Probably not. You’re ugly”
At one point, there’s a group of the vlog squad consisting of Dobrik, Zane Hijazi, Scotty Sire, Toddy Smith and others. They’re giving her a present and it turns out to be diet pills. Dobrik is seen saying,
“Take four of these [diet pills] and you will probably dance better!”
Zane Hijazi also justifies the body-shaming saying:
“I knew it would hurt you!”
Dobrik is also constantly fat-shaming her in multiple videos where he’s commenting on her weight and laughing at the jokes.

When you watch those bits in the vlogs you don’t really notice it coz it’s one time in every few vlogs. But, seeing it all together makes it seem awful. Same with big nik bits too. It’s a new perspective on it & you can see why big nik & gabbie would have felt insulted / bullied
Another user shared how this constant fat-shaming would have affected Gabbie Hanna:
This probably f**ked Gabby up A LOT coz now she’s all about constantly working out and losing weight. Nothing wrong with that ofc but it all probably stemmed from this kind of bullying behavior from her so called best friends.
Trisha and Gabbie were both a part of the vlog squad but at different times
For those who have followed the vlog squad long ago, it would come as no surprise that both Gabbie Hanna and Trisha Paytas were a part of the group. However, they appeared in the videos at separate times.
Paytas joined the vlog squad when she started dating Jason Nash in 2017. Though, she broke up with Nash and had a falling out with the whole group in early 2019. Soon after, she started speaking up against the whole group for their problematic behavior which is now resurfacing on the internet.
Gabbie Hanna was with the vlog squad in its early days in 2017 but soon separated from the group and claimed there ‘was no drama between them’. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2019, Hanna cleared the rumors and said she had no drama between David Dobrik either and that they still talk to each other. She just shared that she was not in the mindset to have friendships that mainly take place on camera and not so much off-camera. And the vlog squad was famous for having the camera on most of the time.
Gabbie also added:
I think it’s important for everyone to understand that in life people just grow apart and that doesn’t mean that something awful is going on. It’s just like I need to be focusing my energy in the studio on writing, working on my fitness, working on my mental health. And it doesn’t leave a lot of time for like like the antics and stuff. I’m also a very anxious person and I need a lot of alone time.
On the other hand, Gabbie Hanna and Trisha Paytas had a public major falling out between each other when they both starred in Gabi DeMartino’s ‘Scream Queens’. There was a lot of Twitter fighting and videos made against each other. But ultimately, Gabbie Hanna and Trisha Paytas made up when Trisha appeared on Gabbie’s podcast.
Trisha Paytas Speaks up in favor of Gabbie
Trisha Paytas came to know of this video compilation of Gabbie Hanna being bullied and spoke up. She retweeted the video and added:
It’s no secret I’m not Gabbie’s biggest fan but clips I’ve seen from her time with VS make me sick to my stomach. Like why are all the females the punching bags and it’s always about their looks, their s*x life,or some other shallow sh*t. I wish she would speak. This is not drama.
Paytas further highlighted how no one apologized for their bullying behavior:
The worst thing is is NO ON HAS EVERY HAD TO EVEN SAY SORRY OR ACKNOWLEDGE this disgusting behavior. It’s GROSSSSS
Trisha has also made several videos with Ethan Klein on the H3H3 Frenemies podcast speaking about the David Dobrik and Durte Dom scandals. She also reacted to both of David Dobrik’s apologies on his misconduct allegations.

There are hints that Gabbie Hanna might speak up on the Vlog Squad…
Now, Gabbie Hanna has not spoken publicly against David Dobrik and the vlog squad. But she has tweeted out saying that she’s about to get into some legal trouble.
When someone asked Gabbie Hanna if she was about to break an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), she replied saying that she doesn’t sign NDAs.
Another update was when she revealed that she was getting calls from lawyers on a Saturday:
It’s unclear whether she’s going to speak up against the vlog squad or not. But let’s see if she does.
