For Millennials. By Millennials.
With Season 5 of CW’s Riverdale now in the making, there are details now available for the fans! We think the Riverdale stars have outgrown their roles. And it’s high time CW producers are accepting that too! After watching Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, and others as high school students for years, we are getting change. After all, in our opinion, the writers were making nonsense episodes recently anyway. Factually, even a cast member left cause they were creatively bored. Now, the word on the street is, season 5 is coming out with a big-time jump. We’re talking possible “settled in their careers” kinda long time jump. The show’s executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa talked to TVLine this week.
We’ve been talking and planning on doing a time jump. And of course, usually, time jumps happen in-between seasons because there’s a tease at the very end.
Riverdale producer discloses plans for the season 5 timeline!
The big man for Riverdale has spoken. And he’s talking about giving us the normal awaited episodes. You know, the one without the drag stuff and more of the normal high school stuff like Prom and Graduation.
it felt like maybe what we’ll do is start with the last three episodes. So what we’re doing is picking up right where we left off for the first three episodes, and then doing a time jump… after those three episodes.
The last three episodes of season 4 were not shot due to the 2020 global health crisis lockdown. So now, they will be the first three episodes of Season 5 of Riverdale. And they will have the gang’s Prom Night and Graduation Day. We cannot wait to see the Prom glow ups of the cast!
And among other things, we believe the time jump might serve as a refreshing change in the plot. Maybe things will be different and less forced after they return from college. Guess we all have to wait and watch. What are your predictions for this time jump? Let us know in the comments below!
