After short period of romance, the former couple married in 2015. In 2017, Heard and Depp finalized their divorce. Heard wrote an opinion article in The Washington Post. In the article, she talked about abuse from men. She did not mention Depp’s name but Depp has sued the actress as they both were together once. Johnny has sued his ex wife for $50 million. Heard in return has sued her ex-husband for $100 million. Additionally, many shocking details of their relationship got revealed in courts of Virginia. And it has shocked netizens.

Amber Heard played the character of Mera on the hit movie of 2018, Aquaman. Since her legal trouble with ex-husband, many people have gone against her and want her out of the movie. A petition has been going around for a while on change.org against Amber Heard. Furthermore, amidst the current trials, it is receiving more attention. Depp’s fans want Amber dropped off from the cast. Moreover, the legal trouble has destroyed Depp’s image as well. After the abuse allegations, Disney dropped Johnny in the fifth installment of the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
Petition To Remove Amber Heard From Aquaman
The petition to remove Amber Heard on change.org has reached almost 2 million signatures. According to the petition:
Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp. And her appearance in Aquaman 2 should be cancelled to prevent the alleged abused from being ‘glamorized’.
Furthermore, petition highlights previous arrest of Heard by stating:
Amber Heard was arrested in 2009 for abusing a former domestic partner, Tasya Van Ree, demonstrating a repeated pattern of abuse by Amber Heard.
Additionally, sequel of the ‘Aquaman’ movie, is set to be released in next March. They wrapped the filming in January. Moreover, Twitter community has a lo to say about the trial and Amber Heard as well. Depp fans are furious and want the petition to receive as much attention as possible.
