Ozark’s Javi (Alfonso Herrera) Teases Mind-Blowing Ending For The Show!

We all came to love the actor Alfonso Herrera, a new comer to the Ozark Family. He plays Javier ‘Javi’ Elizondrio, The unhinged nephew of Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). He’s different from the generation that came before him because he actually has a business degree from a prestigious university in Chicago. He wants to consolidate and expand the business. But he doesn’t trust the Byrdes and has some lingering suspicions about his own uncle.

Yet at the end of Ozark season 4 part 1, we see Javi doing the most Ozark thing to do.

He killed two major characters, Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) and Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan). Of course, Wyatt’s death pushes Ruth (Julia Garner) into a spiral and she’s now hell-bent on taking revenge. And she is going to let anyone stop her, she made that abundantly clear to Marty and Wendy.

He told Entertainment Weekly that he was shocked at reading that part of the script where he kills Darlene and Wyatt:

“When I read that, as a fan, I was in shock. But, as the actor playing Javi, I was very excited to see the arc of this character. That last scene, it’s very potent, it’s very explosive.”

The actor who plays Javi, Alfonso Herrera, is teasing a big surprise ending for Ozark which will blow our minds away

Apparently, the ending for Ozark will be something that none of us can predict. Even though there are plenty of amazing fan theories circulating around the internet, the creators of Ozark are not to be taken lightly. Alfonso Herrera shares his thoughts on his character Javi:

“Javier represents a new era of how businesses are being done right now. He comes from a university, he understands businesses completely different as his uncle, he doesn’t see his business as a family business, he wants to construct and consolidate something bigger and wider.”

Herrera also shed light on what we can expect on Ozark Season 4 part 2 and the overall ending of the show:

“What’s going to happen afterward, it’s going to be mind-blowing. If you think that Javi is someone that you cannot read and you do not expect how he’s going to react, what’s going to happen next is that times 20.”

It seems like Javi will be a major character in the Ozark finale. After all, Ruth and Javi’s face-off is inevitable. But what does that mean for the Byrde family. Will they get to be free and live on the gold coast in Australia like they planned?

We literally have no idea.

But the creator of Ozark, Chris Mundy, has shared that season 4 part 2 will dive deeper into family

Javi is from Omar Navarro’s family, and he will definitely have some soft spot for his uncle. But his Uncle did betray him and their entire family by working with the FBI, so we’re not sure of how that will play out.

Knowing the brutal nature of the entire Navarro family, we can expect a lot of bloodshed to ensue. As for the Byrde family, Chris Mundy explains that the Ozark’s final season 4 part 2 will dive “deeper into the family and their bonds”.

We’ll see if Jonah (Skylar Gaertnar) ever resolves issues with his mother Wendy (Laura Linney). We’re also going to be seeing if Wendy and Marty (Jason Bateman) themselves can stick together. Will they do it for the kids? There was already a lot of tension when Wendy puts a red flag on Jonah’s laundering accounts, essentially putting him at risk for jail. This was a move that both Marty and Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz) didn’t agree with.

But Marty, Charlotte and Wendy are all sticking with the family. And Charlotte is truly trying her best to have Jonah around. Jonah does have some faith in her and Marty but things need to be resolved with him and Wendy.

A hint that Chris Mundy shared on the upcoming part of the final season of Ozark:

“Is family the ultimate bond? … At what point is it almost unhealthy to stay, even if you love somebody? We’re going to delve into that with Marty and Wendy.”

Plus, Mundy is also promising a lot of emotional moments between Ruth Langmore and the Byrde family. Will Ruth kill Javi, or will she take a 180 turn and team up with him against the Byrdes.

After all, Wyatt, her father and her uncles would all be alive if the Byrde family hadn’t arrived in Ozark.
