The athletic showdown involved England facing off against World XI, a team crammed with high star-wattage celebrity icons. While big names including John Terry, Robbie Williams and Mo Farah were touted as the main faces for England, World XI. campaigned through its stellar line-up of international stars including, Niall Horan, Usain Bolt, and Didier Drogba. Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2019 importantly took place at. the Chelsea Stamford Bridge instead of the Old Trafford in Manchester this year. Who Won?

The energetic face-off between England and World XI did not conclusively subside as the whistles blew out. For England, Britain’s Got Talent’s Jeremy scored two goals in the first half. Shortly before half-time, Usain Bolt scored a goal for World XI. While England was unable to score a point through the entire second half, Kem scored another point for World XI; thus, equalising the scores by the end of the match.

World XI and England then participated in penalty shootouts to find a winner. Which ultimately resulted in World XI winning 3-1.
