Previously, a rumor circulated that superstar Rihanna and Canadian rapper Drake has unfollowed American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion. Rihanna had recently announced her pregnancy with A$AP Rocky and since has been in news for her incredible fashion choices despite being pregnant. Meanwhile, another news surfaced that Rihanna has removed Megan from Savage X Fenty deal. In 2020, Stallion was named as the brand ambassador of Fenty. She later also became a brand partner.
Is there a feud between Megan Thee Stallion and the owner of Fenty Beauty?
Due to the rumor getting a lot of attention, fans have started making stories and reasons to justify a non existent feud between both superstars. According to the sources, gained by Shade Room, there is no such fight between Megan Thee Stallion and Rihanna. The actual reason behind Megan not appearing on the Rihanna’s brand site is the expiry date of her contract. The sources state:
“Megan hasn’t been a Savage X Fenty ambassador for over a year since her deal expired. There’s no reason for her to still be on the website. Any speculation to the contrary is inaccurate.”
Moreover, netizens started making awkward connections since noticing the change on Rihanna’s site. Many fans brought Megan and Tory Lanez’s fight in this particular feud. They believed Rihanna never supported Megan. The Shade Room mentioned that there is no fight between the stars. They stated that Rihanna had actually supported Megan Thee Stallion after the incident occurred. Moreover, Rihanna sent Megan a note that read:
“You know you have got a whole crew over here sending good vibes your way.”
Twitter community quickly noticed Megan not mentioned on Rihanna’s website and started the discussion
Megan Thee Stallion fans jumped to defend her against her haters who want the rapper to fail badly. Upon hearing the rumors, many people on twitter made up stories.
There is no connection of the incident with this news since sources have revealed its the matter of expiry of contract between Fenty and Megan and nothing else. Megan’s fans also pointed out that news of Rihanna un-following Megan cannot be true because she never followed her in the first place. Moreover, fans pointed that Savage X Fenty brand’s page is still following Megan Thee Stallion.
