Mark Wahlberg Holds Religion Close As He Never Misses Sunday’s Mass

Mark Wahlberg is the guy with probably the most hectic routines, yet he makes it look so damn easy. In all his routine of gym, exercise and doing chores and work, he fits one more thing which is compulsory for him. Mark Wahlberg has often revealed that his Catholic religion is the most important part of his life. In fact, he attends church on Sundays twice and is regularly attends Mass.

No Matter What Happens, Mark Wahlberg Loves Mass

Mark Wahlberg is not afraid to show his support of his Catholic religion. He has, at often times, described his duty to his religion. This is not something new, as Daily Mail UK reports that The Fighter star goes to Church every Sunday:

“If the kids are good, I’ll have doughnuts for them at 6:30 in the morning, and I’ll say, ‘You guys gotta let Mommy sleep in!’ I’ll go to church at 7:30 and everybody will be eating breakfast when I come home. Then we’ll go to church again at 10:30, if things aren’t too hectic. Or if one of the kids has a game we’ll watch them play. It’s a nice family day,”

In 2017, at Archdiocese of Chicago, the Transformer actor explained his faith to an audience of young adults. He was the youngest sibling among nine children so he had to leave school at age 13. He even served prison at 16 due to charges of attempted murder. Today, Mark Wahlberg commits to becoming a good father and a husband.

He revealed to the crowd that being in jail truly turned him towards the Church. Now, he daily communicates with his parish priest Father Ed Flavin, who married him to his wife.

“Still, every day it’s a process. That’s why I start my day, every day, by getting on my hands and my knees and starting a time of prayer and reading, reading Scripture. Then I feel like I can go out there and conquer the world or at least do my job and give back because I’ve been blessed so much.”

Mark is currently working on three new movies. Scoob, Infinite and The Six Billion Dollar Man will release in 2020.
