Lucifer Season 5 Is Bringing Back A Character From The Past

Netflix is going to launch its final season 5 of Lucifer soon, and it is going to bring on an old character back – Eve. Yes, Inbar Lavi will reprise her role as the first woman and Lucifer’s ex-girlfriend. Eve debuted in Season 4 when she left heaven to reunite with her ex-boyfriend Lucifer (Tom Ellis). Their relationship was complicated enough, but Lucifer was preoccupied with Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and her reaction to discovering his true identity. Eventually, Eve and Maze started their own relationship, before the former left Mazikeen “to find herself”.

Inbar Lavi’s Eve To Return To Lucifer Final Season

In a statement, showrunner Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson said that they are excited to bring Inbar back. They also hint something to happen between “God’s favorite” demon and the original sinner:

“Last we saw her, Even broke Maze’s heart. So, a reunion between our favourite demon and the original sinner should go smoothly, right?”

Maze was left heartbroken at the end of season 4, just like Chloe who admitted her love to Lucifer after discovering his true identity. However, the devil left her to return to Hell, leaving the two women mourning at end of the season finale. Lesley-Ann Brandt (Maze) tells her own opinion about what might happen:

“I think they are leaning into each other. Maze is of course mourning Eve, and definitely Lucifer going back without her; Chloe’s lost her love. They’re kind of holding onto each other as girlfriends do.”

Season 5 of Lucifer starring Tom Ellis is releasing later this year in 2020 on Netflix.
