A special segment of the show included fans of the Riverdale star talking about what a humble and sweet person KJ Apa is. Next thing they know, they are jumped by the very star they are drooling over. There were screams of glee and nervousness while meeting their favorite actor in person. Apart from KJ Apa surprising his fans, Ellen DeGeneres also decided to surprise the actor. They were deep in conversation about how Australia is more dangerous than his home country New Zealand. And out came a fake Archie Andrews from the side table all of a sudden. Not only did the real Archie, KJ Apa run across the stage after getting scared, but he also said something for the fake guy:

He’s a lucky man. He’s lucky I didn’t give him one!

To which Ellen DeGeneres said:

He is lucky, it’s gonna happen someday.
