For Millennials. By Millennials.
One thing that the internet loves is never letting anything that the Kardashians do slip out of focus. This time, it’s Khloe Kardashian who is facing hell online. She might have had a good year after patching things up with her cheater boyfriend Tristan Thompson. And not to forget, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter baby True who completes everything for Khloe. But looks like the year-end might not be equally great for her. She is facing a tough time on social media because of a tweet that she recently made while searching for a doll for baby True.
The twist is that she asked for a biracial doll because apparently, regular dolls are too scary for children. While some people slammed her for not getting a whole black doll because she could not embrace her daughter was black, others picked on her for being too dense.
What is Khloe Kardashian Facing Fire for?
Khloe Kardashian recently tweeted that she was looking for a doll for her baby daughter True Thompson. But she complained online that she was looking for suggestions because the dolls she found online were very scary. They were too frightening for True, and she wondered why people had started making such terrifying dolls for children.
But her rant session did not stop there. She went further to ask if anybody knew where they could find a sweet-looking biracial doll. Khloe added that the silicone ones really freaked her out because some of them looked really real.
This last tweet caused a wave of fury among moms on the internet. Khloe Kardashian was immediately slammed for not getting her child a black doll. Some accused the star of being unable to embrace her daughter’s true color. Others believed that the KUWTK star was being wholly dense. Others decided to tell Khloe that her daughter was black, and there are shades of black so she could just get a normal black doll for True without looking specifically for a biracial one.
Although Khloe has not responded to all this backlash publicly, we are sure she must have gotten the message. It’s time that we stop inflicting all this racism on children, and accept them for whatever color their skin is.
