For Millennials. By Millennials.
Earlier, we covered how Chris D’Elia sent sexually inappropriate messages to underage women. Since then, there has been widespread condemnation about the comedian’s misconduct. And a lot of celebrities spoke out against him too. But, it looks like one of his close friends has remained silent since the allegations surfaced – Joe Rogan.
Chris D’Elia’s friends speak out
I don’t think there’s any doubt that Rogan and D’Elia are good friends with each other. D’Elia has often appeared on Rogan podcasts on multiple occasions. But, D’Elia was a regular on many of the podcast shows of his fellow comedians.
Apart from Joe Rogan’s podcast, D’Elia was a regular on Callen and Brendan Schaub’s show as well. But, when they heard the news, they commented on D’Elia’s allegations on their The Fighter and the Kid Podcast. Schaub said that he knew D’Elia was a ladies man, but he’d never “heard or seen him do anything illegal.” Moreover, he also mentioned how hard it is for him to hear such news of his friend. Other than them, Whitney Cummings also issued a statement, but she was more forthcoming than Joe Rogan and the others. She said:
This is a pattern of predatory behavior. This abuse of power is enabled by silence. Now that I’m aware, I won’t be silent. Girls should be able to be a fan of a comedian they admire without becoming a sexual target.
Other than them, Theo Von commented that he wished Chris would “get the help he needs. And Bobby Lee said, “I feel like I lost a friend.” However, there is one comedian who is arguably more popular than the rest of them, who hasn’t said a single word on Chris D’Elia’s sexual misconduct. And that is Joe Rogan.
Joe Rogan’s silence speaks volumes

Joe Rogan isn’t just a comedian; he’s the host of one of the most famous podcasts in the world. The Joe Rogan Experience is always in the bracket of the most discussed podcasts on the internet. Moreover, Chris D’Elia was a guest on his podcast as early as April of this year. Yet, he hasn’t said a single word against D’Elia, or even mentioned him in any of his podcasts.
Now, Joe Rogan comments on all kinds of social, political, cultural issues, and current events. In fact, it’s hard to find a topic Rogan has not spoken about. Recently, spoke a lot about police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement. But, somehow he has not spared a single minute of his time to even talk about Chris D’Elia and his sexual misconduct and predatory behavior. And that in itself is as a statement.
One could say that maybe Joe Rogan is waiting for the facts to unfold or he’s waiting for the fog to settle. But, it’s been more than two weeks as of now. This will be upsetting for many fans of the Joe Rogan Experience, as this lack of a response is very notable.
Chris has been proven innocent
Stop deleting comments, Chris’s team posted long versions of the emails. the accusers lied, Chris has been proven innocent.
Bc the allegations are horseshit and his team showed that the girls willingly misled the public by not providing context. Nothing to address.
Why should Joe Rogan comment on that bullshit story? It’s an obvious ploy from dumb ass girls trying to get Chris D’elia in trouble because he wouldn’t have sex with them. The full messages have been released, he was never even charged with committing a crime at all, he never had sex with underage girls, or sexually assaulted anyone.
I’m willing to bet a substantial amount of money that you don’t have a law degree. Or, come to think of it, anything much past a dishwasher job.
And you do?? You don’t need to a degree from Harvard law to review the evidence and see that it shows the claims that set this controversy ablaze are at best full of holes and are at worst contrived malarkey. Nothing that has been shown to ANY of us at this point has constituted this cancellation when you take into account the counter-evidence available. Which, by the way, is a lot more than you can ask of people like you who would rather throw out ad-homonym insults about people being dishwashers. Look at the emails that are in question. There is nothing to see there whether you passed the Bar exam or are a respectable dishwasher with a respectable amount of common sense. Very un-dank Cc
Why would he speak about it? Aside from the fact that the allegations are in question now that D’Elia has released more info about the exchanges, this article is a perfect example of why it doesn’t make sense to issue a statement. The other comedians you mentioned talked at length about how shocked and angry they were by their friend’s behavior. They universally condemned him, and yet, you STILL cherry picked their quotes to make it look like they were giving him a pass. Is that because nobody is woke enough for you, or is it because smearing people gets your garbage blog more attention?
This time it did make a DENT!
I think that rather than Rogan making a statement, he’s actually got Chris on deck as a guest to talk about the allegations. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens in the next week or so.
