For Millennials. By Millennials.
Jeffree Star is a popular makeup artist who has always blown away his fans by his crazy makeup looks. And that’s how he managed to earn 16 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, the beauty guru finds it very important to stand up for the rights of his community. He has started many campaigns in the past to raise money for the LGBTQ+ community.
The LGBTQ+ community has always been a minority group in many countries. And it feels really good that celebrities like Jeffree, who have such a huge platform are doing great things for the community. If the people from the same community don’t stand up for the rights of their community mates, then who will?
As Jeffree Star always speaks up for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, many people found the courage to come out because of him. Looks like Star has a great influence on the LGBTQ+ community. He helped many people to come out of the closet. And no, he is not the only supporter of the beauty community who supports the LGBTQ+ movement. Many beauty influencers like Manny Mua, Bretman Rock, James Charles, NikkieTutorials, and Nikita Dragun also support the LGBTQ+ community.
One person commented on the MUA’s post:
“You have helped me in so many ways. I knew I was a bi-se*ual a long time ago but I didn’t come out to myself till I watched you. I went years without telling myself I couldn’t be because it wasn’t right and not what society wanted but I came out to myself last year cuz of you.”
This is just one example out of many showing that Jeffree Star has influenced a lot of people.
Is Jeffree Star Cosmetics helping the LGBTQ+ community?
As we all know, this is Pride Month. So first of all, Happy Pride Month to all the LGBTQ+ people. Secondly, we are hearing some good news from Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Looks like Jeffree Star is partnering with TheOD Foundation to support the LGBTQ+ community behind bars. Jeffree announced the news to his fans on Twitter. He said in a Twitter post
