It really doesn’t look good when a convicted felon that went to jail for killing his wife thinks you killed your husband. But that appears to be what happened. O.J. Simpson had a few thoughts on Netflix’s Tiger King, the documentary featuring how animal rights activist Carole Baskin was almost assassinated by her rival Joe Exotic, a private zoo owner. Though Joe denies it to this day, he has a firm belief that Carole Baskin killed her own husband Don Lewis. That’s what most people think as well. Since, Jack ‘Don’ Lewis, Carole’s second husband, mysteriously disappeared the day he and Carole got into a big fight.
There are theories that Carole fed him to her tigers. People, and by people we mean Don’s own daughters and ex-wife, believe that Carole did it just so she could take all his wealth. However, Carole Baskin denies the ‘outlandish’ claims and even slams the Netflix documentary ‘Tiger King’ for portraying her in such a light.

Now, O.J. Simpson felt the need to share his thoughts on the matter. Do you know what he said?
There’s not a shred of my doubt in my mind that that lady’s husband is tiger sashimi right now. I’m just sayin’.
Yes, the guy who got charged with murdering his own ex-wife back in the day, is sure that Carole Baskin fed her husband to the tigers. That definitely says something, don’t you think? I’d say O.J. Simpson joins the club, but I won’t because I don’t want a convicted club in this imaginary club the whole world is in. I mean, Cardi B and Gwyneth Paltrow are cool. But I draw a line at O.J. Simpson. And here is why.
The history of O.J. is as shady as Carole Baskin
O.J. Simpson was a professional football player who was charged with murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ron Goldman. Simpson was always a person of interest in these horrendous murders but O.J. pleaded not guilty. However, the trial of O.J. Simpson and the pursuit was a much-publicized event which led to Simpson becoming a household name, much like Carole Baskin herself. However, in 1995 the jury found OJ Simpson to be not guilty. Fun fact, Kim Kardashian’s father Robert Kardashian was on the defense counsel team for O.J. Yeah! That happened. Another fun fact: David Schwimmer played Robert in the FX Series ‘Trial Against O.J. Simpson’.
At the time the African American community didn’t believe that O.J had killed Nicole Brown because the police and justice system was found to be quite racist at the time. However, public opinion now is that he did kill Nicole Brown, even the African American community. Though after he was acquitted of this charge, Ron Goldman filed a civil lawsuit against and got a hold of some money due to it.
In 2007, he was charged with a robbery and was sentenced to prison for 35 years later in 2008 on accounts of assault, kidnapping among other things. However, the case was later reopened in 2013, but he didn’t get bail. In 2017, a judge allowed him to be released from prison on the basis of good past behavior. He served a total of 9 years in prison and is currently free. Free to watch Netflix’s Tiger King and believe that Carole Baskin killed her husband. It’s quite eerie how much the situations were similar.
