For Millennials. By Millennials.
Some of you might not know that famous rapper DaBaby was recently caught under fire for making homophobic remarks during a concert. So far the rapper has posted two apologies but what he said can hardly be forgotten or forgiven. We won’t say that we are surprised by DaBaby’s hurtful remarks during the Miami concert. As he always tries to create a mess out of everything and stay in the social media highlights.
I don’t know if you guys remember DaBaby’s re-tweet about Tory Lanez and Meghan Thee Stallion. But it was very much offensive as it referred to a fan’s tweet about Megan Thee Stallion getting shot by Tory Lanez. This is not it folks. DaBaby was also taken to Jail last year on battery charges which involved payment issues with a music promoter. Then there was another case in which the rapper slapped a female fan outside Tampa Bar in California. Anyways, let’s just talk about why the DaBaby is facing backlash this time.
DaBaby made homophobic comments in Rolling Loud Miami concert
A clip is going viral on the internet in which rapper DaBaby is making some serious homophobic, extremely inappropriate, and sexist remarks. And not just that, the rapper also made ill-suited remarks about HIV/AIDS during his concert on Sunday at the Rolling Loud Miami concert.
A fan shared a clip from DaBaby’s recent concert at the Rolling Loud Miami in which he is sharing a bunch of inappropriate stuff.
I seriously can’t believe what the rapper is saying. I mean the fact that he collaborated with Lil Nas X for Panini. And knows that the other singer doesn’t shy away from showing his se*ual preferences. Then why would he make such negative remarks for people like him? Secondly, what DaBaby said in his concert doesn’t really make any sense. His lack of education on HIV/AIDS and targetting the LGBTQ community and women with active se*ual lives really make us question why we have been hearing his songs all this time.
Let’s see what DaBaby said in his concert about the LGBTQ community and women with active se*ual lives.
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that will make you die in two three weeks. Ladies, if your p-ssy smell like water, put a cellphone light them up. Fellas, if you ain’t s-cking d-ck in the parking low put your cellphone light up. Keep it f-cking real.”
The rapper is also facing backlash for inviting Tory Lanez during his set at the Rolling Loud Music Festival. That too right after Megan’s set which was lined up right before DaBaby. One of the fans even hit DaBaby with a shoe during his performance.
DaBaby apologizes for making homophobic comments and his lack of education about HIV/AIDS
The rapper has apologized twice to his fans after making homophobic remarks and sharing inaccurate knowledge about HIV/AIDS. He posted this apology right after he was eliminated for his performance at the Lollapalooza’s show in Chicago.

DaBaby also posted an apology on Twitter after he made some sexist and homophobic remarks at the Rolling Loud festival. But let’s not forget that the rapper asked straight men and people who did not have HIV/AIDS to turn on the flashlights of their phones. He then shared his lack of knowledge about the said disease and said it would make you die in two or three weeks.
Many celebrities like Questlove, Elton John, Madonna, and Dua Lipa shared their views about the rapper’s horrible remarks. Dua Lipa who collaborated with DaBaby for her hit number ‘Levitating’ shared that she was horrified and surprised by the rapper’s statements.
