If you have been following the messy TikTok drama that is happening right now, you would know that Josh Richards’ ex-girlfriend Nessa Barrett is dating Jaden Hossler. Jaden happens to be Josh’s best friend. So, people are accusing Jaden and Nessa of going behind Josh’s back and betraying his trust. Though, things started to go messy when Mads Lewis accused them of being together and of Nessa stealing Jaden from him. Amid all the drama, Chase Hudson appeared to have been brought into it when fans are remembering how the famous Chase and Nessa kiss that ended relationships then.
The Nessa Barrett X Josh Richards X Mads Lewis X Jaden Hossler situation
So, a quick recap. Nessa Barrett was on a break from her boyfriend Josh Richards. She said it was to focus on herself and her mental health. At the time, she was working on a new song ‘la di die’ with close friend Jaden Hossler aka jxdn. Jaden Hossler was in a relationship with Madison Lewis. So, Josh and Nessa, Jaden and Madison were all great friends together.
But Mads Lewis broke up with Jaden Hossler. Immediately after, Mads Lewis posted a TikTok video online shading Nessa Barret for supposedly stealing Jaden from her. She ended up deleting it quickly as she got a lot of backlash for it. Mads said at the time:
I was never jealous of a song nor jealous of her. I know Ness better than anyone and she knows exactly why I posted this video and that’s all that matters.
Josh Richards responded on his BFFs podcast saying he didn’t believe Mads and if the rumors were true he would be heartbroken because he’s super close to both Nessa and Jaden. Josh also that Mads was trying to contact him but he didn’t want to listen to her because she was acting ‘crazy’ by spreading drama on social media.
Then a few days after that, Nessa Barret and Jaden Hossler were seen out on what seemed to be a date. There were paparazzi videos of them getting close, holding hands and even alleged kissing. Plus, they both told the paparazzi that they’re ‘the happiest they’ve ever been’. And what’s more is that Nessa and Jaden got matching tattoos. Some even noticed how the two were sharing clothes when Nessa was seen wearing Jaden’s shorts in a now-deleted TikTok.
Nessa Barrett also tweeted out amid the drama saying:
“I don’t need to pity myself. i know the decision i made. y’all don’t know the whole story and probably never will because the truth hurts and it shouldn’t be online. night.”
Jaden Hossler talked about the situation on a live-stream, adding that he didn’t want to hurt Josh Richards and is trying to reach out to him but Richards isn’t responding. He said that he went to jail for Richards because he cared so much about him and would never betray him.

Josh Richards reacted to Nessa dating Jaden
Josh Richards stated that he wanted to deal with things offline and didn’t want to spread more drama online. In a new episode of BFFs with Dave Portnoy, he talked more about it. Richards explained that he was aware that Nessa and Jaden had some level of attraction to each other:
I kind of knew that they liked each other . We broke up then they became a thing , it’s like whatever, I’m moving on from it, they’re moving on from it their way and for me, I just wish them the best. That’s that
Josh also added that he doesn’t have any ill will against either Jaden or Nessa and he doesn’t want fans to to send hate to anyone:
I dont think anything they tried to do was malicious against me I think that it’s just like we’re all 19-year olds, young as f*k just trying to figure sht out. And I made a bunch of mistakes during my relationship with Nessa too. I just hate seeing this turning into “Team this” and “Team that”.I don’t want it to become a thing where we sh*t on each other”
He also explained that the reason why he didn’t get back to Jaden and Nessa wasn’t because he blocked them. It’s because his phone was shut off for hours when he was busy in a meeting. Josh also didn’t appreciate Mads for bringing a situation online when the four of them had not dealt with it properly off-line.

Mads Lewis also came on to Call Her Daddy podcast with Alexandra Cooper to talk about the situation. Mads also had a message sent to her by Jaden that confirmed he liked Nessa.
She wished Jaden and Nessa the best:
I love Jaden. I wish him the absolute f*cking best, I want him happy. So, if him being happy is being with Nessa, then be with f*cking Nessa. If you being happy is being with somebody else, then be with them.
Mads also had nice things to say about Josh when she apologized to Josh:
I just want to say… a big apology to Josh. I f*cking love Josh. The fact that he called me crazy, I don’t blame him at all.
But she explained that Nessa Barret hadn’t always been a good friend to her. Even though the two lived together and became best friends instantly, Nessa didn’t stay a loyal friend. When Mads asked her if she could live at the Hype House when Nessa was there, Nessa replied saying:
No, nobody wants you here. Nobody likes you.
In another incident, Mads was in a bed with Nessa and Chase Hudson aka Lil Huddy. Chase told Mads to stay quiet and to go to sleep. At the time, Nessa was dating Josh and this was around the same time Chase was accused of cheating on Charli D’amelio.
Since Mads was dating Jaden at the time, Mads told him. Jaden then told her to tell Josh about it but Jaden ended up telling Josh himself because Josh already had an idea about this whole situation. Josh got mad and Nessa called Mads crying and told her to take the blame:
your relationship with Jaden is not gonna work out. So you better take the blame for me. You better say you got with Chase. That wasn’t me.

Now, let’s take a look back at the Chase Hudson/Lil Huddy X Charli D’Amelio X Nessa Barret drama of last year
So, a year ago a major TikTok drama happened. Nessa Barrett said that Chase Hudson took an explicit picture of himself, captioned it ‘still softish’ and sent it to Nessa. The reason why it was controversial because Chase was dating Charli at the time and Nessa was with Josh Richards.
This instantly became an explosive drama where Josh Richards and Bryce Hall ended up making a diss track on Lil Huddy called ‘Softish’. But Charli D’Amelio ended up breaking up with Lil Huddy after the drama because there were a lot of problems between the two. Though, the two ended on good terms and remained great friends post-breakup.
Chase denied the cheating rumors and said that he only kissed Nessa when they were both single. Nessa also confirmed that the kiss happened.
When all of it was happening, Chase Hudson tweeted out accusations against all the other famous TikTok boys. He said that Jaden Hossler and Josh Richards both tried to actively cheat on their girlfriends Mads Lewis and Nessa Barrett at the time. He said Jaden tried to ‘hook up’ with Dixie D’Amelio even though Dixie was with Griffin at the time. Also that Griffin cheated on Dixie with Kaylyn.
Everyone named in the tweet got angry and denied all the accusations. Jaden Hossler and other Sway Boys went to Chase Hudson’s house to confront him and things settled down after that. Jaden shared:
we talked.
no fighting.
it’s settled.
i was heated asf but now i’m calm bc talking can resolve everything.
it’s over
Charli D’Amelio called out Chase Hudson for deflecting the blame and not taking accountability for his own actions:
Stop deflecting your actions onto others because you can’t take responsibility Chase. Want me to talk about how you treated me throughout our relationship or do you just want to continue to play the victim?”
Dixie D’Amelio also reacted to Chase’s tweet:
“Ur wild. Stop playing the victim and worry about yourself.”
Lil Huddy’s ex Cynthia Parker also added in calling this move by him ‘immature’:
During out relationship, all I wanted was for Chase to own up to his OWN mistakes and issues,” she said. “This is so private and unnecessary. Instead of throwing everyone else under the bus own up to your own sh*t, somehow you’ve dated two minors that are STILL more mature than you’ve ever been.”
And interestingly Anthony Reeves tried to debunk the lies regarding Josh and Jaden:

However, a Hype House member that had recently joined, Kelianne Stankus, added that Jaden Hossler asked her to sleep with him when he was still dating Mads Lewis.
So, was Chase Hudson right about Jaden Hossler all along?
It appears that Jaden Hossler wasn’t always faithful to Mads Lewis. In the Call Her Daddy Podcast, Mads shared that she knew it wasn’t going to work out between Jaden and her for many reasons. But she still had love for him.
Love the kid. I wish him the absolute f*cking best. No, he did not cheat on me with Nessa. That’s what he said. He said he would never do that to Josh.
Mads also explained how Nessa and Jaden’s manager was trying to bring the two into a relationship.
However, looking back a year ago when the drama was unfolding between Chase and Josh Richards. Chase tried to “expose” everyone by saying that Jaden cheated on Mads multiple times. And Kelianne had confirmed that she had been approached by Jaden. She didn’t reveal if anything had happened between the two.
And Jaden had cleared everything up with Chase at the time. Chase Hudson had deleted the tweet, had confirmed his breakup with Charli D’Amelio and soon forgot the drama. But he may have been right about Jaden Hossler’s cheating all along.
Chase might have been lying about the other accusations but currently he’s not under the hot seat anymore. Plus fans are now taking his side and think that he was right all along. However, if that is the case, then Lil Huddy might have had more than just a kiss with Nessa Barrett.
