Cats movie trailer was released a few days back and we are still trying to digest WTF was that. Like seriously, where is that internet army who gave hell to the Sonic Team. These human-like felines are creepier than Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in It Chapter Two.
What Makes Cats’ Felines Creepy?
Cats movie is based on a Broadway musical with the same name. And that Broadway musical was based on Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot.
Over the course of a single night, a tribe of cats called the Jellicles make what is known as “the Jellicle choice” and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
The felines of the Cats Movie give a Snapchat like effect. Like, as if the whole movie was made using Snapchat filter. The felines walk like a human, talk like a human, dance like a human (choreography is amazing TBH) but they are furry beings with whiskers. The odd thing that adds to the apparent creepy look: only some felines are wearing clothes. The rest of the cats could not afford a tailor I guess.
We all hated Sonic with human teeth. Cats have human lips as well as human eyes and nose. That’s biasness buddies. If Sonic cannot have human teeth then these cats cannot be 90% human. Just give these cats a laser hair removal treatment and you will have a human in hand.
Cats Movie releases on December 20, 2019. I may not be watching it myself but I will definitely get a ticket as a birthday gift for my sister that day.
P.S: I do not know how to “unsee” Cats Trailer and I cannot look at the cats the same way again.
It Chapter Two Trailer Is Not Scary
Oh well, before you say anything, it was scary. It really was for 2 days until l I saw Cats Movie Trailer. I forgot the blood and gore and violence in the trailer. The only thing that had my brain occupied was Pennywise’s clown look. And it looked cute as compared to the felines in the cats. It Chapter Two has a “Horror-Thriller” genre, Cats has Animation, Comedy, and Drama. Oh, the irony!
It Chapter Two releases on September 6, 2019. Better scream your lungs out watching a horror movie instead of a Comedy movie like Cats and having nightmares.
