For Millennials. By Millennials.
Before things become confusing for Star Wars fans and others, let’s make this clear from the beginning; Baby Yoda is not THE Yoda. There is much hype on the Internet regarding the green baby which The Mandalorian showed at the end of its latest episode. As much as the fans want to see a baby version of the Star Wars Universe’s greatest Jedi, this green baby is not it.
This is because, as confirmed by Insider, The Mandalorian takes place AFTER the original Star Wars trilogy movies. At that time, Yoda was said to be about 900 years old. Possibly the greatest Jedi that ever lived, Yoda died in “Return of the Jedi” and later appeared as a ghost. However, just because we can’t help but relate to the green baby, who is definitely from Yoda’s alien species, we are going to play along as tiny Yoda himself. Hence, the Internet made some heart-melting memes about the not-quite-baby Yoda.
