Recently, Laura Prepon revealed that she is no longer a member of Church of Scientology.

Until a few years ago, Laura Prepon was constantly defending Scientology. Moreover, in an interview, Prepon credited her faith for her success on Orange is The New Black. According to her, auditing is the reason why she was able to access Alex Vause’s vulnerable access. However, in a recent interview, Laura Prepon revealed that she no longer follows the religion. According to her, it is no longer a part of her life. Additionally, Laura Prepon said:

The church’s controversial auditing process had stripped away all of this charge, false ideas, decisions and mis-emotions that were affecting me. At the same time, I realized that acting does not define me.

Furthermore, Laura Prepon confessed that her kids played a huge role in her deciding to leave the church and said:

In my life, things have become much easier. I’m not affected like I used to be. As a brand new mother, I was reflecting so much on my own upbringing. I was reflecting on the way I was mothered. Similarly, I was forced to look at a lot of things in my life that I wasn’t looking at before. If motherhood has taught me anything so far, it’s that something can work out for a period of time. And then you move on and evolve from that.

Laura Prepon and Ben Foster are married and have two kids together. At the moment, they are practicing meditation and are more interested in spirituality.
