It’s abundantly clear that Jake Paul has no love lost for Austin McBroom. The two have been at each others’ neck for quite some time, with the feud beginning in November when McBroom challenged Jake to a fight. But recently, their feud has become a lot uglier, with calumny ripe in the air. And it all started with Jake accusing McBroom of cheating on his wife Catherine Piaz.
Jake Paul accused Austin McBroom of infidenlity
It all started with McBroom sharing a video with Paul’s then-upcoming opponent ex-UFC fighter Tyron Woodley, as he said in the TikTok video “Jakey, you’re in trouble, my man!”. In a since-deleted TikTok, Paul then accused McBroom of cheating on his wife, saying he commits multiple infidelities every weekend. Paul said laughingly:
Oh, Austin! He switched up on me. He’s with my opponent! I’m in trouble, Austin? Does your wife know that you cheat on her every weekend? Does she know that you message every single girl on Instagram trying to get in their pants?
And that is when things got heated between McBroom and Jake, as the Ace Family member responded in his Snapchat story:
I will never see me speak on people who talk sh-t about me because there will always be people trying to bring me down especially because of the position that I am in. But when it comes to my family being mentioned It’s always different. Regarding the Jake Paul incident… First off the statement he made is not true at all. That’s why it was deleted so quickly. This boxing sh-t has caused a lot of drama due to trying to hype up the fight.
The boxing that McBroom is referring to was his June 12th fight with Bryce Hall in the YouTubers vs TikTokers event. He further continued saying:
Stop believing everything you hear and see especially during a hot moment. Jake and I are handling our issues off-camera right now. And that’s that!
The two go face to face when recording the BFF podcast
As this was going on, the two showed up to record an episode of BFFs with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards. There, the two had a heated exchange, with McBroom asking Paul why he had to take their feud to a family level. To that, Paul relied:
You wanna start, I’ll finish it.
The BFF podcast also shared a clip where the two were eager to engage in a brawl. Paul even tried to bypass McBroom’s security to fight him directly. But, it ended with McBroom saying he wants to fight Paul next.
Of course, Austin McBroom dominated his fight against Bryce Hall, knocking him out in the third round. Moreover, one of the cheating claims on McBroom by Tana Mongeau have been debunked by Erika Costell as well. However, there are multiple claims against the basketball player that are still unanswered.
