The writer cum co-showrunner of the Netflix comedy, One Day At A Time, is excited to act and write episodes for ABC sitcom United We Fall with Will Sasso and Christina Vidal in leading roles.

Julius “Goldy” Sharpe wrote and executive produced the pilot with Mark Cendrowski as the director. Moreover, Sony Pictures, Exhibit A Film, and ABC Studios developed the pilot plan. However, on May 11, 2019, it was announced that United We Fall gets a full series order, together with Sony’s For Life. The series, however, would premiere in the spring of 2020.
The sitcom “United We Fall”, in fact, is showcasing the striving life of Jo and Bill, parents of two young kids. The extended family, however, creates witty chaos for the couple. The scenario becomes more complex when Bill’s judgmental mother and Jo’s big Catholic family collide. The major cast includes Christina Vidal, Will Sasso, Jane Curtin, and Ella Grace Helton.
What’s Up For 2020
As a matter of fact, many Hollywood big names have started fishing for good roles in major upcoming sequels/ fresh openings to remain fiscal for next year’s crop of shows. Likewise, to spring up in the upcoming 2020-21 season, many TVshows are also refining their brands to charm their potential network buyers.
Similarly, ABC is all set to bring female-led shows back to the network especially comedies. In this regard, ABC has announced one Multicam half-hour featuring Sarah Hyland and Emily Gordon. Furthermore, the network has ordered two family-based sitcoms — “Black-ish” spinoff “Mixed-ish” and the Multicam “United We Fall.” Basically, “United We Fall” was sold as part of a package along with a Sony TV legal drama “For Life.”
Gloria Calderon Kellett Is Busy Next Year
Gloria Calderon Kellett is the writer and co-showrunner of One Day at a Time. The show is based on Norman Lear’s 1975–1984 sitcom of the same name. Netflix canceled the show after airing three successful seasons. However, on June 27, 2019, Sony Pictures Television and CBS Corporation decided to develop the series of 13 episodes for the fourth season. The fourth season will air on CBS’s Pop network in 2020.
In addition, Gloria is also working on her second comedy project with CBS, titled “Shoulda Coulda Woulda”. Calderon Kellett will also executive produce the comedy project “Just Like Us” at CBS. With this busy schedule the, ‘Dead to Me’, the actress will soon be seen in United We Fall. Fans are still waiting for further details and release date of her episodes.
